OPS, EPS seek top posts in AIADMK polls on Dec 7

A day after amending its bylaws, the AIADMK on Thursday announced elections to the posts of coordinator and joint coordinator on December 7. The top leadership will be elected by all the primary members of the AIADMK by a single vote as per the amendment carried out by the party executive committee on Wednesday. According to party leaders, coordinator O Panneerselvam and joint coordinator Edappadi K Palaniswami will contest for their respective posts as a team. Party organisational elections will be held in two phases and the first round will take place between December 13 and 23.
