Madras HC won’t stop AIADMK polls; man attacked

Justice Abdul Quddhose, hearing a civil suit moved by former MP K C Palanisamy, who was expelled from AIADMK in 2018, made it clear on Friday that the court could not interfere with the election at this stage. "If illegality is proved on merits, the court will not hesitate to cancel the election. But no interim orders can be passed now," Justice Quddhose said.
