Clear encroachments now, orders CM at Tuticorin

Chief minister M K Stalin who arrived here on Thursday to review areas affected by rain and flood in the city instructed officials to clear encroachments from waterways immediately to ensure that rainwater does not inundate the city. Chairing a review meeting with officials at the Thoothukudi corporation office, he also asked officials to prepare an integrated plan to drain stagnant rainwater in the coastal district.
