Chennai: Water leaks from roofs of metro stns a menace

It's hop, skip and jump for metro rail commuters every monsoon, as water seeping from walls and dripping from roofs on to floors of stations poses risks. Stations like LIC, Thousand Lights, Anna Nagar east and High Court, which opened in the last 3-4 years, have water seeping mostly near the entry/exits points making access to the ticketing areas difficult. The problem recurs every year.
