Tamil Nadu asks Centre for timely supply of fertilizers

Tamil Nadu minister for agriculture and farmers’ welfare M R K Panneerselvam has urged the Centre to ensure timely supply of fertilizers for the benefit of the farmers in the state. Citing backlog and delay in supplies, he asked the Centre to ensure that imported fertilizers, meant for Tamil Nadu, are routed through the ports in the state and neighbouring Puducherry.
