Tamil Nadu poll panel launches online campaign

Ahead of the assembly election in Tamil Nadu, it is not just political parties that are channelizing resources to canvas for votes on the internet. The office of chief electoral officer, Tamil Nadu, has come up with ideas — including a virtual reality campaign — to attract young voters. TN Elections CEO has appointed an agency, Ontwikkel Corp, to handle the digital awareness programme and keep young voters engaged on social media.
