Woman dies after docs leave cotton in her abdomen

A 24-year-old woman, who underwent a Caesarean section, died on Wednesday due to an infection caused by a cotton wad left in her abdomen by doctors at Vriddhachalam government hospital in Cuddalore district. The deceased was identified as R Priya, wife of V Rajkumar, 26, from a village near Vriddhachalam.
