Cop moves Madras HC challenging conviction

The Madras high court on Wednesday issued notice to the Tamil Nadu government on a plea filed by a sub-inspector of police challenging conviction and life imprisonment given to him by a lower court for wrongfully confining a man and shooting him dead with his service revolver in Ramanathapuram district in 2014.
