Chennai: 3 bridges to be retrofitted at Rs 15cr

Three bridges in North Chennai, each more than 50 years old, are set to be retrofitted this year as the city corporation has found out, after various tests, that the bearings have worn out and repair is imminent. In coordination with the city police, Greater Chennai Corporation will also work out a traffic plan to ensure that commuters are not affected when the work is taken up.
